ARTISANT is a Web3 gamified fashion platform designed for fashion designers, Web3 artists, traditional brands, and NFT collectors to publish, own, and trade digital fashion NFTs. Focused on wearable NFTs for use in the Metaverse, ARTISANT supports the Web3 fashion community and promotes the integration of digital fashion into the evolving fashion industry.

Objective
  • Developing a new branding representation to establish ARTISANT as a reputable and leading name in digital fashion NFTs.
  • Creating a clear navigation flow to help users learn about the platform, interact with the marketplace, and understand how to collaborate with ARTISANT.
  • Designing an intuitive and visually appealing main page layout.
  • Ensuring the design aligns with the company's goals and the needs of its target audience.

PROCESS
  • 1. RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS
    I began by conducting competitor and audience analyses to gain a deeper understanding of the digital fashion and NFT ecosystem. This helped me:
    • Identify industry trends and best practices.
    • Understand the target audience’s interests, preferences, and needs.
    • Identify users’ key struggles when interacting with similar platforms, such as unclear messaging or complex navigation.
    After conducting research, I documented key insights and findings to ensure the team could learn from them and use them effectively during the brainstorming session.
  • 2. STRATEGIC PLANNING
    I suggested a rebranding initiative to strengthen ARTISANT’s brand identity. To ensure alignment and feasibility, I:
    Organized brainstorming sessions with the team to clarify:
    - Why rebranding was necessary.
    - What benefits it would bring to the company.
    - The resources required and how realistic it was for the startup's stage.
    Collaborated with the team to define a solid vision, mission, tone of voice, and so on for the brand.
    Aligned the rebranding strategy with the website redesign to create a unified direction.
    Conducted meetings with stakeholders to gather business goals, and target audience insights.
  • 3. DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
    To bring the vision to life, I:
    • Selected typefaces and finalized the color palette to represent the brand's identity.
    • Designed both low- and high-fidelity layouts to prototype and iterate on ideas.
    • Developed a UIkit for consistency across the website and future updates.
    • Optimize layouts for different devices and screen sizes, ensuring a seamless experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop.
    • Focused on enhancing user engagement through micro-interactions for a polished experience.
  • 4. DEVELOPMENT COLLABORATION
    During the development stage, I worked closely with the front-end developers to ensure the design was executed to the highest standard:
    • Ensured website responsiveness.
    • Implemented animations and micro-interactions to enhance the user experience.
    • Conducted detailed reviews to polish every element and deliver a seamless final product.
  • RESULTS
    The launch of the redesigned main page delivered noticeable improvements in user engagement and platform performance:
    • Conversion rate increased by 42%, indicating a more intuitive and compelling user experience.
    • The number of published digital fashion items by artists grew substantially, alongside an increase in the sales of NFTs, showcasing the platform’s enhanced appeal to creators and buyers alike.
    • Users spent more time on the website, with session durations increasing by ~ 33%, and the Scroll depth by ~ 20%, demonstrating a heightened interest in exploring the platform’s offerings.
Launching new platform ARTISANT Collect

Objective
Design an intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly platform for ARTISANT Collect that allows users to:
  • Seamlessly create and curate their own digital fashion collections.
  • Interact with daily collectible digital fashion items in a fun and accessible way.
  • Easily convert collected items into NFTs for use in the Metaverse (including as AR garments) or sell them on popular NFT marketplaces.
  • Incorporate a rarity system for all items to enhance their value and uniqueness.
  • Enable users to manage their collections, including features like item burning for strategic customization.
  • Integrate features that enhance user engagement like a gamified leaderboard to foster a fun, competitive environment.
  • Focus on delivering a smooth and engaging experience that merges digital fashion with blockchain functionality in a way that feels approachable and enjoyable for all users.

PROCESS
  • To launch ARTISANT Collect, we applied the Lean Startup methodology, which structured the platform's development through the following iterative stages:
    1. LEARN
    We conducted user research and organized Customer development to understand the new target audience, their needs, preferences, and pain points. We also gathered insights from early adopters to inform the design direction. After conducting the research, the results were presented to the entire team to ensure alignment during the ideation stage.
  • 2. IDEATE
    Brainstormed solutions based on research findings, focusing on features that would enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
    Developed user personas, and low-fidelity wireframes to visualize potential solutions.
  • 3. BUILD
    Designed and developed an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) with essential features like item collection everyday, and AR/Metaverse integration.
  • 4. MEASURE
    Collected user feedback through user research and analytic tools to assess the platform’s performance.
    Identified areas for improvement and prioritized updates based on user behavior and feedback.
  • 5. REPEAT
    Iteratively refined the design and functionality based on continuous learning and testing cycles.
    Introduced additional features like item rarity, burning options, and a gamified leaderboard in subsequent iterations.
  • So using this approach we ensured a user-centered, data-driven development process that aligned with both user needs and business goals.
  • RESULTS
    As a result of launching the new platform:
    • Over 50,000 unique users are connected with crypto wallets.
    • More than 6,500 unique NFT collectors engaged with the platform.
    • A total of 41,000+ NFTs were minted on ARTISANT Collect.

AR effects and Other fun stuff
I created AR effects for NFT digital fashion assets that have AR or metaverse wearable utilities. Also some effect for collaborations and other promotions.
As a Web3 platform, ARTISANT hosted Metaverse contests and events while actively participating in digital fashion conferences. I contributed by designing virtual spaces for these events or collaborating as part of the creative team. Additionally, I created several videos for the ARTISANT YouTube channel.
